1. Scope and Legal Information

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply exclusively to non-professional consumers purchasing from the website https://orangepeel.fr, operated by the microenterprise Orange Peel, managed by Manuel PROQUIN, located at 30 ter rue de la Frosnière, 44119 Treillières, France – SIREN 837 806 751.

The website uses WordPress and WooCommerce, with WooPaiement (Stripe) for card payments and SwissBitcoinPay for Bitcoin transactions. Orders are sent via API to Tunetoo, our French manufacturing partner, for on-demand production and shipping.

These Terms are available in English and the contract is concluded in English. Any exception requires prior written consent from Orange Peel.

2. Products

Orange Peel offers:
  • Personalized products, such as custom apparel, made to order.

  • Non-personalized products, such as books and educational materials.

Descriptions are provided with care. Due to the production process, minor variations may occur.

3. Prices

All prices are displayed in euros (€), including all taxes. VAT is not applicable (Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code). Shipping fees are calculated at checkout.

Orange Peel may update prices at any time; however, the price applicable is that confirmed during the order process.

4. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:
  • Credit/debit cards via WooPaiement (Stripe)

  • Bitcoin (BTC) via Swiss Bitcoin Pay, using either Lightning or on-chain transactions

Orders are confirmed only after full payment.

Bitcoin Payments:
  • Invoice validity: Bitcoin invoices are valid for 10 minutes due to exchange rate volatility. If unpaid in time, they may expire and must be regenerated manually.

  • On-chain accuracy: You must send the exact amount to the exact address shown. Underpayments will not be processed. Overpayments are accepted but not refunded automatically.

  • Late payments: If a transaction is made after the invoice expired, processing is not guaranteed. Contact us with your transaction ID.

  • Unique addresses: Each payment address is linked to a specific order. Never reuse a previous address.

  • No automatic refunds: Bitcoin payments are non-refundable by default. Contact us within 48h in case of error; refunds are discretionary and net of network fees.

  • Risk disclaimer: Bitcoin payments are irreversible. Orange Peel is not liable for address errors, wrong amounts, or network delays.

5. Formation of the Contract & Confirmation

The contract is formed once payment is confirmed and the buyer receives an order confirmation by email.

Steps in the process:

Invoices are archived securely in accordance with applicable regulations. No customer account or contractual document is stored beyond what is necessary for billing and legal purposes.

6. Retention of Title

Products remain the property of Orange Peel until full payment is received.

7. Transfer of Risk

The risk is transferred to the buyer upon delivery to the address provided, unless the buyer designates a carrier. Orange Peel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage after delivery.

8. Right of Withdrawal

In compliance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code and EU Directive 2011/83/EU:
  • Custom-made or personalized products are not eligible for return or withdrawal.

  • Non-personalized products (e.g., books) may be returned within 14 days of receipt, without justification or penalty. The product must be returned in original condition and packaging. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense. Refunds are issued after inspection.

9. Returns and Refunds

Custom products are non-returnable except in cases of:

  • Production defects

  • Printing errors

  • Damage during transport

11. Legal Guarantees

In accordance with French law, customers benefit from:
  • The legal guarantee of conformity (Art. L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the Consumer Code) – valid for 2 years from delivery.

  • The legal guarantee against hidden defects (Art. 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code) – valid for 2 years from discovery of the defect.

These guarantees apply independently of any commercial warranty.

All content on the website (texts, images, logos, designs) is the exclusive property of Orange Peel or its partners. Any reproduction or use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

13. Limitation of Liability

Orange Peel cannot be held liable for:
  • Misuse of products by the customer

  • Delays or issues due to carriers or third-party providers

  • Production or delivery errors (managed by Tunetoo)
    Orange Peel does not directly manufacture the products. Production and fulfillment are handled by Tunetoo, a French company with over 20 years of experience.

14. Customer Service & Complaints

Before taking legal action, buyers are encouraged to seek an amicable solution.

Orange Peel respects your privacy:

  • No tracking cookies or analytics tools are used.

  • Data is only collected when strictly necessary for order processing and never sold or transferred to third parties.

16. Waste Responsibility – Unique Identifier (IDU)

As Orange Peel does not manufacture the products, it is not subject to the IDU (Article L.541-10 of the French Environmental Code).
These obligations are handled by our manufacturing partner, Tunetoo.

17. Force Majeure

Orange Peel cannot be held liable in cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disaster, strike, internet or provider failure).

18. Modification of Terms

Orange Peel reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The version applicable is the one in force at the time of ordering.

19. Gift Cards and Vouchers

Discount codes may be offered during specific campaigns or promotions. The terms and conditions applicable to each code (such as duration, eligible products, or minimum purchase amount) will be specified at the time of the offer. Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash, and only one code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.

20. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute, the buyer should first contact Orange Peel to seek an amicable resolution.
If no agreement is reached, jurisdiction is assigned to the courts of Nantes, France.
In accordance with Article L.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, buyers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

Returns or Refunds Policy

All our products are custom-made on demand and are considered “personalized items.” As such, they are not eligible for returns or refunds under the right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code and EU Directive 2011/83/EC.

We do not offer returns or refunds:

  • for size-related issues
  • for change of mind
  • for used, washed, or damaged products

However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or with a printing issue, please contact us within 20 days of receiving your order.

Order Issues

If you encounter any problem with your order (defect, damage, or misprint), please contact us within 20 days of receiving your order and provide:

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos showing the problem

  • Your order number

If your claim is approved, we will reprint and reship your item at no extra cost.

Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Refunds Process

If your return is accepted and a refund is approved, you will be refunded within 20 days after the item has been received and inspected.
Please be aware that it may take some time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.

For Bitcoin payments, the reimbursement will be made in euros (EUR) according to the current EUR/BTC exchange rate at the time of the refund.

If more than 30 days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us.

Lost Packages

If your order is lost during shipment, please contact us within 20 days after the estimated delivery date. After confirmation, we will proceed with a reprint and reshipment at no additional cost.
If the tracking information shows the package as delivered but you have not received it, we recommend:

  • Checking with neighbors or nearby addresses

  • Visiting your local post office with your tracking number and ID

Unfortunately, if the delivery is confirmed by the carrier but the package is missing, we cannot offer a free replacement or refund. Any reordering would be at your own discretion and expense.

Returns Due to Incorrect Address or Non-Claimed Packages

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided at checkout or failure to claim the delivery, reshipping fees will apply.
No refund will be issued for unclaimed or wrongly addressed orders.

Production and Delivery Times

All Orange Peel products are made-to-order and customized: production typically requires 5 to 10 business days after payment validation. However, depending on the size of the order, the complexity of production, or periods of high demand, production times may be longer.

We strive to ship within 5 to 7 business days, but delays may occur depending on production demands or exceptional circumstances. In rare cases, delivery times may exceed 30 days.

Production Details and Shipping Origin

All Orange Peel products are made in France, in a workshop with over 20 years of experience. We take pride in ensuring premium quality, durability, and responsible production. Our materials are carefully selected for their quality and environmental standards, and our processes are designed to minimize environmental impact. Thanks to our local production, we maintain full control over the manufacturing process and guarantee a high standard at every stage.

Orders are shipped directly from France to your address.

Shipping Methods

Orders are shipped via postal services with tracking or via a courier service, depending on the destination and product. A tracking number will be provided as soon as your order is dispatched.

If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, a notice will be left in your mailbox, and you may need to collect your parcel from the local postal office.

Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and the total weight of the items ordered.

Orders delivered outside of France may be subject to customs duties and import taxes determined by your local customs authority. These charges are beyond our control and are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information before placing an order.

Order Tracking and Delivery Assistance

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. You can follow the progress of your shipment via the provided tracking link.

If you have not received your order within the estimated delivery time, please take the following steps before contacting us:

  • Check the tracking link in your confirmation email to verify the status of your package.

  • Confirm that the shipping address you provided is correct. If you notice an error, please contact us to arrange a reshipment. Reshipping fees will apply.

  • Check with your local post office or neighbors to see if the package was left with them.

Delivery Issues

If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please:

  • Check with neighbors or your building manager.

  • Visit your local post office with the tracking number and an ID.

Please note that if the carrier marks the order as delivered, it is considered proof of delivery. In such cases, Orange Peel cannot be held responsible, and reshipping will be at your expense if needed.

If you do not retrieve your parcel (e.g., due to an incorrect address or non-claim), it will be returned to our partner’s premises. Reshipping can be arranged at your cost.
